NEW TO MARKET - This cute, seed grown cross #21039 boasts a full rosette of round leaves that take on the green-to-pink coloring of both parent plants. As the plant grows, it's easier to notice the "purple pits" between the leaves and may be slightly more on the slower growing side thanks to its parent p. 'Faulisi'. So far, we have not gotten a flower from them but expect it to be a larger flower with slight wave to its petals, somewhere between a deep pink to bright tangerine color. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. We would consider this to be an intermediate level plant.

NEW TO MARKET - This cross #22067 turned out surprisingly light green! The shape of its leaves clearly takes after the parent, p. agnata 'True Blue', leaving a bit of the "purple pits" between the leaves from its other parent, p. 'Faulisi'. Though we have yet to see a flower from this cross, it's expected to be either light pink or a pinkish-purple. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. We would consider this to be an intermediate level plant.

Cross #21066 is made from pinguicula rectifolia x agnata 'Red Leaf', producing flowers that have a dark stalk with a striking white-to-purple gradient on the petals, lined with dark purple veining reminiscent of galactic vapor trails seen in galaxies. The leaves are mostly green, full and round, with a hit of pink blushing at the edges. It is a fairly easy grower with apparent glands that give it a "sparkle" under high lights; a good bug trapper. The plant you will receive will be between 1.5”-2” in diameter. We would consider this a beginner-intermediate level plant.

This hybrid has a very classic look to its leaves, coloring up on the edges more with a slight curled lip. We have not had it flower for us yet, but expect the flower to be white, possibly with a purple throat like its parent p. rotundiflora. This cross has also been somewhat and easier grower, but water level should be watched carefully that it does not go too dry or stay wet for too long. The plant you will receive will be about 1.5" in diameter. We would consider this an intermediate level plant.

This cute hybrid has been a vigorous grower and seems to flower somewhat often with small, lilac-hued, narrow blooms. The shape of the leaves is somewhat pointed with a curled lip that colors up pinkish under high lights, and apparent "purple pit" between the leaves. The plant you will receive will be between 1.5"-2" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner-intermediate level plant.

Full and round, this cross is one to add to collection just for the fun shape of its leaves but also produces an oblong, almost neon purple flower. The plant itself has round leaves with coloring on the pinkish side under good light, and will turn a more lime green when in lower light. The plant you will receive will be between 1"-1.5" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner level plant. *flower image credit to Cascade Carnivores off a Google search.

NEW TO MARKET - Our cross #21005 produces a showy flower with apparent features of both parents plants - size and lobe shape from p. Sumidero II and the bright pink color with ruffles like p. 'Faulisi' - inspiring its in-house name "Big Flirt" and making it a fun one to add to the collection for variety and size. The plant you will receive will be between 1.5"-2" in diameter. We would consider this an intermediate level plant.

This interesting cross #22005 has not yet given us a flower, but we suspect it will turn out a bright pink like it's parent p. hemiepiphytica with swooping petals. So far, the seedlings have come out with a pretty pink hue to their leaves and a darker, curled margin like p. potosiensis 'Giant' and can have an aggressive dormancy. The plant you will receive will be between 1"-1.5" in diameter. We would consider this an intermediate level plant. *p. potosiensis flower credit to pinguicula.org off a Google search

This hybrid has not given us a flower yet, but is expected to be pink with apparent veining on the lobes. The plant you will receive will be between 1"-1.5" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner-intermediate level plant. *p. seductora flower picture credit to Curious Plant off a Google search

A spectacular hybrid that combines some of the best traits of both parents. This plant does well in intermediate to highland conditions and gets large, fairly quickly, with leaves up to almost 20 inches in length that will blush red in strong light. Lower pitchers can get at least 10 inches long, and are tubby cylindric with a flared peristome, mottled in red to near-black on a green or cream background and the peristome similarly green-cream with dark stripes, but over time will age to nearly solid black cherry. Upper pitchers are similarly colored, but far more slender and trumpet-shaped with a slightly lighter peristome. This is also a known female.

This species has earned the common name of “primrose butterwort” for the beautiful, overlapping, multi-lobed flower it produces similar in appearance to a rose. This amazing plant will also produce plantlets from the tips of established leaves, but needs warm temperate conditions to be happy. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The flower has a powdery blue-purple hue to it, paling out towards the edges, with   peek-a-boo “yellow pits” between petals. The foliage will be a rich yellow-green, low growing and triangular in shape. Pinguicula primuliflora “Rose” is a wetland loving ping from the Southern US, wanting wet and warm conditions to be happy.

This cross #22039 produces spindly plantlets keeping the bright green of the pinguicula rectifolia parent. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The leaves are thin, long, and bright green in color without seeming to blush up at all even under high light. We would consider this to be an intermediate level plant.

This fun cross #22037 produces cute spindly plantlets. It is also the same cross as Bob Beer’s pinguicula “Pink Moon”. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The leaves are thin, long, and bright yellow-green in color without seeming to color up at all even under high light. We would consider this to be an intermediate level plant.

This unique in-house cross #22023 (moctezumae x 'Faulisi') is new to the market, and has a “starfish” like appearance due to the shape of its leaves and the pinkish coloration. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The flower is large is large with flatter petals and a bright pink color, reminding us of a clown's trick flower and thus giving inspiration for the name. Unlike the reverse cross, the leaves have more of a ‘Faulisi’ presentation being wider with a noticeable indent line down the center. The color is very similar to the reverse, starting out a bright yellow-green that comes from pinguicula mocetzumae, and colors up a nice pink under high light while keeping its “purple pits” indicative of ‘Faulisi’ regardless. We would consider this to be an intermediate-advanced level plant.
