Offered for sale are pups from Brocchinia reducata, a carnivorous bromeliad native to South America.  Your plant could vary in size from approximately 3" to 12" in height.  They are un-bloomed offsets. You will receive 1 pup that may or may not have roots at the base of the plants.  No worries, the roots are only used to anchor the plant in place.  I recommend diatomite and coconut coir for potting media, but any well-draining mix will do.  Shipping for Brocchinia is $12 for Priority Mail delivery regardless of the quantity of plants ordered from my shop.

This complex hybrid from Jerry Addington is a stunner. Plant sports wide open lids, like a Catesbaei, petit erect tubes, and a burgundy coloration with slight veining inside of the lids. Plant is currentlyly in a 4 inch pot and has 1 growth point. The plant in the picture is the exact plant for sale. Not a division, but the entire plant. I currently ship Plants out on Mondays and Thursdays, Because I don’t like for plants to sit over the weekend. So please allow a few days before shipping. I ship all plants bare root wrapped in moist paper towel. Due to county regulations, it is illegal for me to ship plants potted. I leave the pitchers on (except during dormancy) and do my best to ship with as little damage as possible. However, I cannot guarantee that the leaves or flowers will arrive undamaged. They are delicate after all. CPR154

Pinguicula, a.k.a. Butterwort, is a genus of carnivorous plant that is divided into temperate species and tropical (often referred to as Mexican Butterworts) species.  Temperate species endure cold winters by producing a dormant bud (hibernacula) during winter.  Tropical species endure dry winters by producing a "succulent like" non-carnivorous leaf.  However, some tropical species and hybrids will grow carnivorous leaves year round if they are kept warm and wet.   Pinguicula agnata is a highly variable species with a broad range that spans several States of Mexico.  This form gets its' name from the fact that it retains green leaves year round.  Most forms of P. agnata have some red to the leaf, so this is an extreme form of a lack of that coloration. Your plant will be shipped bare root (unpotted), wrapped in moss.  You can purchase a pot and soil to be shipped with your plant here.

This is an easy to grow, warm temperate European species. These diminutive plants behave as annuals in nature, but in cultivation they can live for a few years. They reproduce easily though seed and the flowers self pollinate. This species grows well in a bright windowsill, in a greenhouse or outdoors in a warm temperate climate.
