- Sold By: Carlton CarnivoresPrice is for approximately 1-2" diameter dormant tubers; if you're familiar with the Titan arum that gets on the news whenever it blooms, this is a much easier to grow, smaller cousin. During the summer growing season the plants will develop a single leaf up to 6 feet tall and nearly as wide, looking like a mini tree with a mottled dark green and tannish petiole and branching leaflets of bright green. Keep in a rich well-drained soil and feed heavily at this time, and they'll develop tubers that can eventually be more than a foot across and up to 20 pounds (though usually smaller), and when they go dormant, can even survive outdoor winters in milder zones. Mature tubers (usually over 6" across) may start the season by producing an inflorescence anywhere from 2-6 feet tall, with the same mottled stalk as the leaf sports but topped in a vase-shaped spathe mottled on the outside and maroon inside surrounding a tall spadix of the same color. This is a flower you'll want outside when it opens; they don't earn the name "corpse flower" lightly! Tubers are shipped dry-wrapped and padded, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.
- Sold By: DPs CPsI have 1 medium size division of the great Areolata Flop Top. Pitchers get tall and when full sized get that super droopy lid. All plants are shipped bare root via USPS Priority mail with pitchers intact when not dormant so your plant arrives safe, healthy, and ready to thrive and I typically ship on Mondays or Tuesdays.

- Sold By: Carlton CarnivoresOne of the three known carnivorous bromeliads, this species is the most commonly grown but a spectacle when mature. Adult plants develop broad, roughly linear leaves with blunt ends that grow upright in a variable manner, from fairly open like most bromeliads and green, to tightly packed together forming a single central tube with a yellow hue in very strong light. Up to two feet or more tall, it's not a small plant by any means. Available plants are between 3-6" tall; second photo shows the pups before they were removed to establish. Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack for winter conditions. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.
- Sale! Sold By: Ferocious FoliageOffered for sale are pups from Brocchinia reducata, a carnivorous bromeliad native to South America. Your plant could vary in size from approximately 3" to 12" in height. They are un-bloomed offsets. You will receive 1 pup that may or may not have roots at the base of the plants. No worries, the roots are only used to anchor the plant in place. I recommend diatomite and coconut coir for potting media, but any well-draining mix will do. Shipping for Brocchinia is $15 for Priority Mail delivery regardless of the quantity of plants ordered from my shop. We ship Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Sold By: Fort Bragg CarnivoresGorgeous, sturdy, and hardy. This lovely plant has colors that pop! Green from base of tube graduates to copper mid tube transitioning to near burgundy on lid. These colors standout against its speckled white areoles on back of throat. Very similar to a Sarracenia Minor but gets much larger and for us, much easier to grow. Flowering size Bug Bat currently growing in 4 inch pot.
- Sold By: Carlton CarnivoresA large rainbow plant form that can grow erect up to nearly 3 feet tall in some cases, under restricted conditions may form a scrambling vine to even greater lengths, with leaves that can be well over a foot long. Flowers are impressively large, nearly 2" across at times with bright purple petals bearing mildly serrated edges and bright yellow anthers in the center to contrast. Best grown in a large pot with lots of room for roots and overhead growth. Packets contain approx. 10+ seeds; seeds do require special treatment (GA3 solution, smoke treatment, or similar) to germinate. Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail (First Class or Priority). US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets. If a package is lost in transit, please contact as soon as possible.
- Sold By: Ferocious FoliageYou will be purchasing the perennial species Byblis gigantea (pink flower form). This form is now extinct in the wild. The mature plant illustrated is 1 year old and actually a hybrid, it is just meant to be a guide for what this plant will resemble once mature. You will be purchasing a tissue culture plant in sterile media. Please note that the cultures pictured are of this species but you will only get one "tube", not a set of 5. Wash the media off the plant and pot it up. It may not have roots. I suggest 3:2:1 perlite: sand:peat. Keep the humidity high while the plant acclimates and keep shaded until it acclimates. You can divide these prior to potting if you wish to make additional cuttings. Shipping is $12 for Priority Mail delivery regardless of the quantity of plants ordered from my shop.

- Sold By: Carlton CarnivoresThe perennial rainbow plants are an uncommon sight in cultivation, and the hybrid is among the easiest versions to grow! These plants can grow leaves that are over a foot long on an extended rosette or branching stems that can reach 2-3 feet in height, all parts of the plant covered in tiny glands. Under proper conditions (seasonal, hot in summer and cool in winter, with heavy feeding), plants may enter a several-month long blooming season and can hold half a dozen or more 2-inch flowers at a time, the petals with mildly serrated edges and a metallic pink-purple color. Plants often appreciate Osmocote pellets put 2-3 inches under the soil, and should be planted in large pots. This is a great opportunity to grow one of the perennial giants without having to deal with treatment of the seeds or damping off of seedlings; just upgrade to a large container. Available plants will typically be 3-7 inches tall, rooted shoots. This plant will be shipped POTTED, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack for winter conditions. - Sold By: Carlton CarnivoresA hybrid between the two perennial rainbow plant species, this is a large carnivores with leaves that can reach more than a foot in length on a thick stem that can also reach a foot or more in height over time (even branching with age). They can grow year-round if kept moist and cool enough, or may go dormant during the summer season, dying back to sprout again from the stem and roots. Flowers are huge, nearly 2" across and a brilliant violet coloration. Two or more different clones are needed to pollinate, but it is potentially a species that might be propagated via stem cuttings. Current stock includes primarily seeds of a backcross to lamellata. Packets contain 8-10+ seeds; this is a fire-adapted species that needs special treatment to germinate, a 4-6 day soak in 500-1000 ppm GA3 solution recommended.
