Alata Texas is a robust variety of Sarracenia from the eastern part of Texas. Alata Texas is a paler form of Alata. Gorgeous yellow green color with dark veins running along the tube and throat. Plant currently in a 4 inch pot. 1 growth point with 3 mature pitchers, one more currently forming. The plant in the picture is the exact plant for sale. Not a division, but the entire plant. I currently ship Plants out on Monday’s and Thursdays, Because I don’t like for plants to sit over the weekend. So please allow a few days before shipping. I ship all plants bare root wrapped in moist paper towel. Due to county regulations, it is illegal for me to ship plants potted. I leave the pitchers on (except during dormancy) and do my best to ship with as little damage as possible. However, I cannot guarantee that the leaves or flowers will arrive undamaged. They are delicate after all.  CPR1

Utricularia alpina x edressii has wonderful foliage and even more wonderful flowers. I'll upload photos next time they flower, but trust me when I say they're an elegant pastel shade of purple-white and flower shape leans towards the U. alpina parentage. With your Utricularia purchase, you will receive the full contents of a pot as featured in the photos, minus the soil (this keeps shipping costs low and any potential non-native soil critters from spreading). Utricularia shipping is only $10.00 during the winter (heat pack included) for priority shipping, regardless of quantity of plants ordered from my shop (Jeremiah's Plants).

Utricularia alpina x asplundii is a terrestrial hybrid bladderwort with wonderful vigor. It divides like crazy, but I haven't witnessed it flower, so it's a mystery we can all experience together! I'll upload flower photos if/when this little beaut decides to strut its stuff. Flowers should be mostly white due to the parentage.

The largest species of Sarracenia. Pitchers are all yellow and can grow over 3 feet tall.  It sends up the largest ones in Spring, then long leaves that look like undeveloped pitchers during winter and are known to smell like cat-pee. There are many different varieties of S. Flava, but these will be the all yellow form with possibly a slight bit of red on the back of the throat or a little bit of red veining on the top of the lid. In this pack you will receive two flowering size Sarracenia Flava. Flavas currently growing in a 3 inch pot. Note: Most flava pitchers are really old and some start falling over by Late July/August. Plants sold after this time may not have as many pitchers as plants sold in spring. It’s just part of their natural Cycle. I usually trim all pitchers off in Fall.

Yellow Jackets are a chartreuse dream! These tall tubes with upright lids are prolific growers. At the start of growing season, the pitchers color is almost neon green, slowing transforming to a more golden hue come fall. It is a cross between Purpurea, Rosea, and Flava. One big advantage of this Yellow Jacket is that it does well in part shade. In fact I have most of mine growing in part shade, where they seem to grow taller fatter pitchers. Flowering size Yellow Jacket currently growing in a 4 inch pot. Plants for sale are older and will have multiple growth points. Please note: plants are entering dormancy, some plants will be shipped with no leaves.

Darlingtonia Californica is native to the Oregon Coastline and Southern interior and Northern California coast line.  These plants prefer cool nights.  With days occasionally up in the 90's with no greater than 70F root temperature, they still get 50F night temperatures.  Most of these plants have some sort of cool moving water over their rhizomes.  We have the best results planting these in pure sphagnum moss.  You can also use peat moss and perlite. Be sure not to keep them sitting in stagnant water, they deteriorate when this happens. This size of plant grows best in a 3-4 inch size pot, 2-3 years away from flowering size.
