Carnivorous Plants for Sale

The much sought-after giant of the butterwort genus, this species has thick, almost succulent ovular leaves that sport glands on both sides, and grow out in semi-erect to broad spreading rosettes that average between 6-10 inches in diameter, but have been known to grow to nearly 2 feet across! In winter, the rosettes shrink a bit, but develop reddish streaking in this clone and send up one to several individual stalks that bear each a single delicately lavender-white flower edged in darker purple and covered in hairs. This species occasionally reproduces via a false-stolon, plantlets growing in an etiolated, elongate manner to reach out past the parent rosette before establishing.

Available plants are typically between 2-3" in diameter, may be smaller in winter.

Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack for winter conditions. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.

A mystery plant that no one seems to know the real origin or ID of; originally distributed as N. mindanaoensis, it's clearly not that species but rather likely to be a mirabilis hybrid with possibly one of the Indochinese species. An easy lowland-preferring grower, it produces numerous chunky cylindrical traps colored in shades of yellowish to orange-red. Available plants are rooted cuttings with approx. 4" leafspan. You will be purchasing a rooted cutting of Nepenthes copelandii.  This is a very easy plant that is good for beginners.  The brighter the light the larger the pitchers, and they tend to retain pitchers for a long time.  The cuttings were struck in December.  Plants are rooted in a mist bed so the root systems aren't huge since the humidity stays high all the time, but the cuttings are very vigorous. Standard shipping regardless of the number of plants is $12 for USPS Priority Mail, usually mailed out on Monday or Tuesday.  Your plant will be send bare root.

Sarracenia "Okeedoodle" is a fun complex hybrid consisting of Sarracenia x 'Doodlebug' and S. minor 'okee giant'. This variety has an interesting curved pitcher shape taking traits from both of its parent plants to create a final minor-esque shape with a round tube entrance. This is a bizarre and interesting hybrid. Like its parents, it has nice red coloration and veins in full sun and also has hints of the light windows from its S. minor lineage too! This clone is a rapid divider and produces numerous slender pitchers with broad lids and a primarily green coloration, but dotted in the upper pitcher and lid with sparse white areoles and marked with deep red to nearly black pinstripe veins and an equally dark lip. Once it matures this will likely be an elegantly impressive plant. Available division is a small/medium multi-growth point plant, with pitchers up to a foot tall. Perhaps slightly smaller a plant than my Clone A, this "purple pitcher on steroids" frequently trades that small bit of height instead for width in its flaring hood atop the foot-plus tall pitchers. Vigorous to the point of being almost weedy, this plant opens with pale orange-blushed pitchers that fade to green, striped through in good light with sparse but distinct red veining particularly around the throat.

Available divisions are medium to large, mostly single growth-point and either already mature or will be so in less than a year. Grown in low humidity.
