One of several clones of a classic lowland species that originated from seed here, this particular plant develops roughly cylindrical lower pitchers that are marked by distinct veins and a brick-red coloration in good light, and uppers with a similar shape but lighter color. A true lowlander, these plants like hot weather and very high humidity to do well, and produce massive root systems that don't really care about soaking in water, so they're good for swampy pots and wet spots.

Available plants are rooted cuttings with new growth just beginning to develop.

One of two seed-grown clones of N. gracilis that I have that earn the oft-used (if invalid) moniker var. nigropurpurea," this particular plant tends to produce richly red to almost black-shaded leaves and 2-3" tall lower pitchers that are tricolored in shades of red to deep purple-black; upper pitchers tend to be lighter colored with a green background but darkening from the bottom up into the same tricolor red-purple pattern.

One rooted cutting currently available, with a 4" leafspan.

A mystery plant that no one seems to know the real origin or ID of; originally distributed as N. mindanaoensis, it's clearly not that species but rather likely to be a mirabilis hybrid with possibly one of the Indochinese species. An easy lowland-preferring grower, it produces numerous chunky cylindrical traps colored in shades of yellowish to orange-red. Available plants are rooted cuttings with approx. 4" leafspan.
