For these reasons it can have variable flowers, including forms with all white flowers. P. moranensis var alba is a form of P. moranensis that produces all white flowers.

He created this plant by crossing a vigorous green alata, with a very dark alata nigrapurpurea. The result was an extremely tall and vigorous clone that gets an almost solid black throat with red striping on the outside of the pitchers. This clone pushes 30" in my conditions without breaking a sweat. Sold By: Brambles BotanicalsPinguicula gypsicola x sp "Köhres" (Koehres) is a Mexican butterwort hybrid that is essentially a less expensive and more easily grown Pinguicula gypsicola, albeit with slightly broader leaves. The plant’s father, sp "Köhres" (Koehres), is believed to be Pinguicula gypsicola x moranensis, so there’s a lot of gypsicola genes in this cross. We believe the cross came from Oliver Gluch initially. It's a fun, easy hybrid with long, thin carnivorous leaves and gypsicola-like purple flowers. Under intense light, the leaves produce purple coloration along the margins of the leaf base creating an even more visually complex plant, especially around the crown of the plant. The plant you will receive will be between 1"-1.5" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner-intermediate level plant.

In its growing state, it has adorable, soft-pink leaves with a slight wave to the shape; while its dormant form is a tight, green rosette. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The flower of p. rotundiflora has a full body shape to it; boasting rounded white lobes that overlap, noticeable hairs, and a purple throat. Looking closely, you may be able to see the light purple outline of the petals. We would consider this to be a beginner-intermediate level plant.
