This cute hybrid has been a vigorous grower and seems to flower somewhat often with small, lilac-hued, narrow blooms. The shape of the leaves is somewhat pointed with a curled lip that colors up pinkish under high lights, and apparent "purple pit" between the leaves. The plant you will receive will be between 1.5"-2" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner-intermediate level plant.

This species originated from the Aramberri area in Nuevo León, discovered in the late 70’s but not formally described until the mid 80’s. In its growing state, it has adorable, soft-pink leaves with a slight wave to the shape; while its dormant form is a tight, green rosette. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The flower of p. rotundiflora has a full body shape to it; boasting rounded white lobes that overlap, noticeable hairs, and a purple throat. Looking closely, you may be able to see the light purple outline of the petals. We would consider this to be a beginner-intermediate level plant.

This hybrid has a very classic look to its leaves, coloring up on the edges more with a slight curled lip. We have not had it flower for us yet, but expect the flower to be white, possibly with a purple throat like its parent p. rotundiflora. This cross has also been somewhat and easier grower, but water level should be watched carefully that it does not go too dry or stay wet for too long. The plant you will receive will be about 1.5" in diameter. We would consider this an intermediate level plant.

This unique in-house cross #22022 is new to the market, and has a “starfish” like appearance due to the shape of its leaves and the pinkish coloration. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The leaves of this hybrid are elongated with rounded ends, starting out a bright yellow-green that comes from pinguicula mocetzumae, and colors up a nice pink under high light while keeping its “purple pits” indicative of ‘Faulisi’ regardless. We would consider this to be an intermediate-advanced level plant.

This hybrid was named “Improbable” because it is a supposed cross with pinguicula kondoi, which is thought to be sterile. The cross itself is pinguicula agnata "Red Leaf" by pinguicula kondoi. In addition, it has an interesting growing habit where it loves to clump and divides readily. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-2” in diameter. This cross sports a cute white, pale, purple veined flower with “purple pits” and yellow throat. The leaves are rounded, mostly a pale green, but colors up a nice blush-red under high light. We would consider this to be an intermediate level plant.

I've always been fascinated by the blurring lines between plant and animal that carnivorous plants present, so I decided to explore this a bit in my artwork. This cross of Rubra Jones Alba x Psittacina Alba is a real winner. This plant shows signs of both parents; more erect leaves, and a lid that matches Rubra, from Psittacina the plant grows lower to the ground, and has curvature of the leaves near the mouth. Alba plants lack red pigments normally found in carnivorous plants. Plant is currently in a 6 inch pot and tallest pitcher is 6 inches. Plant has multiple growth points The plant in the picture is the exact plant for sale. Not a division, but the entire plant. I currently ship Plants out on Monday’s and Thursdays, Because I don’t like for plants to sit over the weekend. So please allow a few days before shipping. I ship all plants bare root wrapped in moist paper towel. Due to county regulations, it is illegal for me to ship plants potted. I leave the pitchers on (except during dormancy) and do my best to ship with as little damage as possible. However, I cannot guarantee that the leaves or flowers will arrive undamaged. They are delicate after all.
