- Sold By: Brambles BotanicalsA Bob Beer hybrid we have come to fall in love with, pinguicula “Pink Moon” is a cross made between pinguicula moctezumae and colimenses. “Pink Moon” is named for the incredible round pink flowers the plant produces, some of the largest we have seen in our collection to rival pinguicula “Faulisi”! The plant you will receive will be between 2”-3” in diameter. This amazing hybrid’s flower is not only big and pink, but the rounded lobes overlap giving it that “full moon” shape, with a contrasting white and pale yellow throat. - Sold By: Brambles BotanicalsA Bramble’s Botanicals-named hybrid of pinguicula agnata "Red Leaf" by pinguicula mesophytica #1, this has by far become one of our favorites for the leaf coloring alone! The plant you will receive will be between 2”-3” in diameter. The leaves of this hybrid sport a bright green center, that fades out into a contrasting dark pinky-red. Fine hairs are apparent and give it a sparkly “peach fuzz” appearance, hence the name. The flower is a light shade of purple that fades out into a darker hue, with a pale yellow throat. We would consider this an intermediate-advanced level plant.
- Sold By: Brambles BotanicalsThis particular variety of pinguicula moranensis is found 25km outside of the town of San Cristobal de Las Casas in Oaxaca, Mexico. This plant produces almost pure white flowers, save for its yellow throat, and large neon yellow-green leaves that don’t color up much even under high light. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. During dormancy, pinguicula moranensis var. alba will have a tight, rich green rosette with small, slightly pointed leaves. When in active growth, the plant can get quite large with bigger, flatter carnivorous leaves. We would consider this to be a beginner-intermediate level plant.
