Full and round, this cross is one to add to collection just for the fun shape of its leaves but also produces an oblong, almost neon purple flower. The plant itself has round leaves with coloring on the pinkish side under good light, and will turn a more lime green when in lower light. The plant you will receive will be between 1"-1.5" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner level plant. *flower image credit to Cascade Carnivores off a Google search.

Sarracenia psittacina, also known as the Parrot Pitcher Plant is a very unique species of Sarracenia.  The pitchers extend outward and the mouth and lid have a "hood"-like appearance.  In its' natural habitat the plants are  seasonally submerged under water and it may be the only Sarracenia species to capture aquatic prey.  In addition, the examples offered are absolutely stunning examples of Sarracenia psittacina, which were grown from seed from plants native to the Okefenokee Swamp.  Some are deep purple-red with lots of white fenestrations (light windows) on their large, globose hoods, while others are a brilliant yellowish green with deep scarlet hoods and somewhat less fenestrations, and of course every imaginable form in between.  Your plant will be shipped bare root (unpotted), wrapped in moss.  You can purchase a pot and soil to be shipped with your plant here.

Alata Texas is a robust variety of Sarracenia from the eastern part of Texas. Alata Texas is a paler form of Alata. Gorgeous yellow green color with dark veins running along the tube and throat. Plant currently in a 4 inch pot. 1 growth point with 3 mature pitchers, one more currently forming. The plant in the picture is the exact plant for sale. Not a division, but the entire plant. I currently ship Plants out on Monday’s and Thursdays, Because I don’t like for plants to sit over the weekend. So please allow a few days before shipping. I ship all plants bare root wrapped in moist paper towel. Due to county regulations, it is illegal for me to ship plants potted. I leave the pitchers on (except during dormancy) and do my best to ship with as little damage as possible. However, I cannot guarantee that the leaves or flowers will arrive undamaged. They are delicate after all.  CPR1

Pinguicula gypsicola x sp "Köhres" (Koehres) is a Mexican butterwort hybrid that is essentially a less expensive and more easily grown Pinguicula gypsicola, albeit with slightly broader leaves. The plant’s father, sp "Köhres" (Koehres), is believed to be Pinguicula gypsicola x moranensis, so there’s a lot of gypsicola genes in this cross. We believe the cross came from Oliver Gluch initially. It's a fun, easy hybrid with long, thin carnivorous leaves and gypsicola-like purple flowers. Under intense light, the leaves produce purple coloration along the margins of the leaf base creating an even more visually complex plant, especially around the crown of the plant. The plant you will receive will be between 1"-1.5" in diameter. We would consider this a beginner-intermediate level plant.

Pinguicula “Scrump” is a currently unknown hybrid that made its way into our collection and has become a fun one to grow. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The hybrid boasts full, round leaves that stay a neon-chartreuse hue of green. The flower itself is a bright pink with large, rounded top lobes and swooping lower lobes. Pinguicula “Louise Belcher” is a currently unknown hybrid, named in-house for the green-to-pink color scheme and bunny-like shape of the flower; reminding us of that lovable and spicy kid from the Bob’s Burgers animated TV show. The plant you will receive will be between 1”-1.5” in diameter. The plant itself has a clumping growth habit, with oblong leaves that stay a bright green towards the center while the ends color up a blush pink. The flower is a bright purple-pink with rounded, oblong lobes giving the flower a “bunny ear” like appearance with a white throat. We would consider this to be a beginner level plant.
