This variety has an interesting curved pitcher shape taking traits from both of its parent plants to create a final minor-esque shape with a round tube entrance. This is a bizarre and interesting hybrid. Like its parents, it has nice red coloration and veins in full sun and also has hints of the light windows from its S. minor lineage too! Visually quite similar to the Sarracenia rubra complex, this variety is found in about 10 locations in the mountains of north and south Carolina.
