What's interesting about this population is that it is considered the southernmost population of Sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa. The colors here are what truly stand out. Spring colors tend to start out with green, boldly veined pitchers and age into ornately veined crimson pitchers. Let me tell you, in a tray of mixed purps, you can tell Tattnal's from a mile away in the best way possible. I imagine that this population of plants will become a staple in carnivorous collections!
