Sarracenia rubra ssp. wherryi "Chatom giant". A pubescent, taller pitcher plant that is otherwise very similar to Sarracenia rubra originating from Chatom, Alabama. This variety obtains a nice red coloration and venation while also achieving taller than average height compared to other S. rubra varieties reaching up to about 2 feet tall.
Size options:
Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers
Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size
Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
