Drosera adelae, or Lanceleaf Sundew, is one of the only rainforest sundews, part of the “Three sisters of Queensland” this Australian native is truly a windowsill plant! This is the giant variety, which grows larger than typical ones, though still smaller than a mature King Sundew. Drosera adelae is sometimes called “The poor man’s Regia” due to its passing resemblance to the unrelated and more difficult to grow (as well as expensive) species, The King Sundew. Unlike the majority of sundews, this one requires low light and only thrives in very high humidity. A neat trick is to use a cut 2 liter clear plastic soda bottle as an improvised humidity dome! You will receive 1 small sized plant, bareroot.
