Drosera binata ssp. binata

This form of Drosera binata ssp. binata stays compact and colors up to a brilliant red under high light. It does well under grow lights, on a sunny windowsill or outdoors in a mild climate. Unlike some forms of Drosera binata, this form will go dormant and form a hibernicula in cooler temperatures. These are seed grown and have been kept in my unheated greenhouse so they’re nice and hardy. They are charming little plants and are voracious predators of flying insects.
