Often mislabeled as D. dielsiana, this South African species is an easy and attractive plant. Rosettes may reach 1.5-2 inches in diameter, with flat leaves bearing thick petioles and broad oblong lamina. Under decent lighting color is a rich olive green to solid wine red. Tall, wiry and glandular stalks bear several small self-pollinating blooms with delicate narrow pink petals. Occasional budding from the roots or division will develop carpet colonies over time.
Packets contain 40+ seeds each. This species requires no special treatment to germinate, and grows best in cool, strong light environments.
Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail. US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets. If a package is lost in transit, please contact as soon as possible.
