Drosera omissa ‘White Flower’ is an exceptional pygmy Drosera species from Western Australia. The individual plants are very diminutive in size, usually no bigger than a nickel! This species grows as easily as any D. capensis and makes a wonderful addition to any carnivorous plant collection. This variety produces relatively large, attractive white flowers. You will receive a potted colony of established plants similar to the one pictured.

Cultivation: These plants do well on a sunny windowsill, in a greenhouse or outdoors in a Mediterranean climate. Pygmy Drosera need purified water (reverse osmosis, distilled, or rain) at all times. Keep the pots in a tray with an inch or so of purified water. They are hardy up to 100 degrees and down to the mid 30’s for limited amounts of time. My preferred medium is one part sphagnum peat moss to two parts silica sand.
