One of the most widespread of it’s subgenus, petiolaris is a must have for any collector of this complex. They are easy to care for, thriving in very warm, humid, bright conditions.

It can be found through North and Northwestern Australia. With very long and narrow petioles and small sticky pads adorning each tip, it can be grown like subtropical Drosera, only warmer.

You will receive one Drosera petiolaris plant, similar in size and quality as pictured. We ship all plants potted to help avoid stress and damage.

Description

Drosera petiolaris

Media Long Fibered Sphagnum mixed with perlite and topped with a thin layer of a peat and sand mix. Potted in a 2.5″ x 2.5″ x 3.5″ square plastic pot.

Water Reverse Osmosis, Distilled, rainwater or any source with a ppm content lower than 50. Keep in a tray of water filled an inch up the pot. Allow water to evaporate before adding more. occasionally top water and never allow media to dry out..

Feeding Your plants will generally find food on their own. Feeding stimulates growth and flowering. We recommend using crushed bloodworms made into a thick paste or beta fish flakes. Only give the plant enough to envelop, excess food will get moldy and should be removed. .

Dormancy Not required.

Environment Bright lighting. Currently grown under T5 HO lighting with a 16 hour cycle. Temperatures range between 75-90 degrees F. Humidity 45-80%

Shipping $10 Flat rate shipping fee via USPS. All packages are shipped Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Holidays will delay shipping until next available day.

Returns If any plant arrives DOA, or quickly dies after receipt, we will gladly refund or replace your order within a 14 day period. We may ask for pictures for insurance purposes.

Winter Sales All orders placed between the months of November and March will be considered Presale, and will be held until weather conditions allow. Temperatures above 40F constantly may allow shipping at these times. We will contact you to verify any pre order shipment is sent to ensure receipt is possible. In case of any problems with your plant while waiting for shipment, we will happily offer a refund of a product of similar quality and value.
