Nepenthes attenboroughii, named for the man himself, Sir David Attenborough, is a relatively newly-discovered Nepenthes species. This tropical pitcher plant, with its massive and beautifully-colored pitchers, was only described in 2009 and is very much endangered in the wild. This means that there are very few of them legally circulating in cultivation (I only have 5 available, so order fast), and each one is an absolute gem. A man of Sir David Attenborough’s stature deserves to have only the best share his name.
Pictures of mature plants are from expeditions I’ve been on to see these wonderful pitcher plants in their native habitat.
We include some photos of fully mature tropical pitcher plants so you have an idea of your plant’s potential. You will receive one immature, seed-grown Nepenthes. Shipping for Nepenthes is $8.00 for priority shipping, regardless of quantity of plants ordered from my shop (Jeremiah’s Plants).

Truly a spectacular specimen, I purchased this seedling recently and I’m positively thrilled that I did. Finding a reliable source for a critically endangered plant that I know has been grow ethically and not stolen from the wild is IMMENSELY valuable to me. And Sir David Attenborough’s namesake is particularly special. I’m in love.
