One of several clones of a classic lowland species that originated from seed here, this particular plant develops roughly cylindrical lower pitchers that are marked by distinct veins and a brick-red coloration in good light, and uppers with a similar shape but lighter color. A true lowlander, these plants like hot weather and very high humidity to do well, and produce massive root systems that don’t really care about soaking in water, so they’re good for swampy pots and wet spots.
Available plants are rooted cuttings with new growth just beginning to develop.
Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack for winter conditions.
