One of the four clones of this cross I retained, and my personal favorite; a hybrid of N. x splendiana x ventricosa “red,” it’s a tolerant and fairly fast grower but one that stays a bit shorter vine-wise in good light. Plants average with foot-long leaves at maturity and pitchers that can be at least 8″ tall, with lowers being roughly cylindrical to slightly hourglass shaped and brilliantly red and cream to pinkish mottled, sporting a thick scalloped peristome of bright cherry. Upper pitchers are similarly colored, though more slender, with broader peristomes, and lighter pitcher colors.
Photos are of example lower/intermediate pitchers from the parent plant; available cuttings average 4-7″ in diameter.
Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack for winter conditions. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.
