Grown from a batch of seeds from the ICPS seedbank years ago, I nicknamed this one “Fat Lips” for a while because the immature lower pitchers seem to have a tendency to produce particularly chunky peristomes; this holds over into uppers in the form of a notably rounded cherry red peristome on shapely hourglass-profile pitchers that are often liberally spotted or speckled red on a cream or light red background. A classic beginner’s species, though tends to do better in slightly cooler conditions.
Available plants are newly rooted cuttings with growth approx. 4-7″ in diameter.

Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack/cold pack if needed for inclement weather (please leave a note when purchasing). If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.
