This is a small but spectacular Mexican butterwort that is particularly suitable for beginners because it does not experience changes in growth habit or conditions through the year. Rosettes of ovular leaves fold downward as their edges fold inward, propping the plant up above its roots, colors of green contrasted by red centers and lining along the leaf edges in good light. Once established plants mature at around 1-1.5″ in diameter, rarely up to 2″, and may flower nearly constantly with tiny half-inch blooms that sport serrated white petals marked in intricate purple veins.

Available plants are between 0.5-1″ in diameter.

Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack or cold pack/insulation as needed for detrimental weather conditions. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.
