A Bob Beer hybrid we have come to fall in love with, pinguicula “Pink Moon” is a cross made between pinguicula moctezumae and colimenses. “Pink Moon” is named for the incredible round pink flowers the plant produces, some of the largest we have seen in our collection to rival pinguicula “Faulisi”! The plant you will receive will be between 2”-3” in diameter.
This amazing hybrid’s flower is not only big and pink, but the rounded lobes overlap giving it that “full moon” shape, with a contrasting white and pale yellow throat. The leaves are very long, reflecting the pinguicula moctezumae in its genetics, and stay a bright yellow-green even under high light.
We would consider this to be an intermediate level plant.
