Sarracenia Flava small 2 pack

The largest species of Sarracenia. Pitchers are all yellow and can grow over 3 feet tall.  It sends up the largest ones in Spring, then long leaves that look like undeveloped pitchers during winter and are known to smell like cat-pee. There are many different varieties of S. Flava, but these will be the all yellow form with possibly a slight bit of red on the back of the throat or a little bit of red veining on the top of the lid.

In this pack you will receive two flowering size Sarracenia Flava.

Flavas currently growing in a 3 inch pot.

Note: Most flava pitchers are really old and some start falling over by Late July/August. Plants sold after this time may not have as many pitchers as plants sold in spring. It’s just part of their natural Cycle. I usually trim all pitchers off in Fall.
