A Sarracenia purpurea ssp. purpurea (Northern Purple Pitcher Plant) originating from Huron County, Ontario (Canada). Grows on the smaller side of S. purpurea range with shapely, colorful pitchers. Ranges from light green to orange and red with yellow-greens blended in and moderate venation. This is the northern variety of pitcher plant and will survive outdoors with no winter protection!!! (I live in climate zone 7A)
Size options:
Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers
Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size
Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
