I have an interesting complex hybrid up for sale. I received this plant as “Sarracenia (purpurea heterophylla x moorei)”. This hybrid looks like a typical Catesbei IMO. Spring pitchers tend to look green with red veins, but in the summer and fall the upper tube turns a dark crimson with excellent veination on the inner hood. Cold hardy and will survive outdoors without overwinter protection.
Size options:
Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers
Medium-Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size
Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
