Grown from seed, this hybrid expresses significant leucophylla influence with white areoles throughout the lid and upper quarter of the pitcher, and its best growth is seen in late summer into fall. Shape and color take on hints from the minor and alabamensis wherryii in the parentage though, as this somewhat shorter plant (averages around 14 inches tall in outdoor conditions for me) has rather chunky pitchers with echoes of the hooded pitcher’s helmeted lid and red flushing in the lid that may or may not fade with age.
Available divisions are medium-mature, and should flower in spring.
Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack or cold pack/insulation as needed for detrimental weather conditions. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.
