Sarracenia rubra ssp. jonesii “anthocyanin free” is an all-green mutant of Jones’ pitcher plant, an endangered species. Visually quite similar to the Sarracenia rubra complex, this variety is found in about 10 locations in the mountains of north and south Carolina. Quite easy to grow and vigorous like others in the S. rubra complex. (NJ sales ONLY.)
Size options:
Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers
Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size
Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
