Sarracenia “Turtle Mouth”

Sarracenia x “Turtle Mouth” is a complex hybrid Sarracenia x [purpurea x (Psitacina x rubra)]. This variety turns nearly solid red with yellowed lids and good venation. The mouth is pointed like its namesake. It’s a bit of shorter trumpet pitcher plant that tops out about 1 foot tall with a unique, quirky pitcher shape.

Size options:

Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers

Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size

Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
