The pod parent is a short but rapid-growing plant with heavily veined red and white pitchers and lids; the pollen parent makes exceedingly tall and slender pitchers with massive lids, decked out in heavy red veins and blushing especially around the throat. Offspring are likely to sport a lot of red veins and slender pitchers, with a dense-growing habit.

Packets contain approximately 20 seeds, and require cold stratification.
