Sarracenia x “alata x rubra”

Sarracenia x “alata x rubra ” is a smaller, but vigorous and clumping hybrid. Forms lots of clumps of long, thin pitchers that don’t get much larger than about 8 inches. This specimen is intermediate between the similar-looking species. This is a great bargain for the pitcher plant lover looking for smaller trumpet pitcher plants.

Size options:

Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers

Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size

Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
