A similar to but slightly smaller hybrid than my cultivar 'Childhood Wishes', this is a plant slightly more prone to forming stems up to a few inches tall and can develop palm tree-like rosettes up to 3" or so in diameter, with tapered oar-shaped leaves whose tips often fold in half. Coloration is bright green with crimson blushing to a rich solid scarlet. Flower stalks are slender and wiry, bearing numerous small, bright pink sterile blooms. A great plant for singular display, this cross also can tend to bud from old roots or the base of bent stems, thus forming loose colonies over time. Available plants are typically semi-mature, between 1.5-2.5" in diameter and 1-2" tall (above root zone). Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack or cold pack/insulation as needed for detrimental weather conditions.

One of many unique Australian forms of this species, a tropical plant that develops flat rosettes up to 3" in diameter with very narrow, strap or wedge-shaped leaves with a distinct petiole and long lamina. Under good light, the entire plant readily flushes a bright to wine red hue. Flowers are produced near-constantly, small and white and self-pollinating. A very attractive singular display plant, its abundant seed production and occasional old leaf or root budding also lends to quickly developing colonies. Plants are small but mature (flowering size), between 1-1.5" across and will gain size once potted spaciously. This clone is a rapid divider and produces numerous slender pitchers with broad lids and a primarily green coloration, but dotted in the upper pitcher and lid with sparse white areoles and marked with deep red to nearly black pinstripe veins and an equally dark lip. Once it matures this will likely be an elegantly impressive plant. Available division is a small/medium multi-growth point plant, with pitchers up to a foot tall. This clone is a rapid grower that sends up elegant, slender trumpet pitchers up to 2 feet or more in height (in conditions here; likely to get taller in more humid locations), and pure fluorescent green throughout. Lemon yellow flowers are produced in spring, which smell rather pungently of ammonia or, often compared to cat urine (delightful, no?). Available plant is a medium/large division, once established will flower again next season, and is just beginning to send up this year's growth. Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. This is a great beginner's plant and one that's good if you're looking for stout, variable, and big lids. Photos show representation of what mature plants can look like, ranging from almost pure green to heavily veined or flushed in red and purples, with pitchers up to a foot or more in height and lids that can stretch almost half that in width. Parentage means this should be a very cold-hardy plant, and they grow and divide rapidly, and sport beautiful red-pink flowers. Plants range from 4-8" tall and similar diameter; largest plants will be shipped first. Perhaps the most vigorous plant I have, readily breaking pots every couple years after a repotting. Pitchers grow up to around 2 feet tall (average shorter in my conditions) and are brilliant yellow-green with a fine network of red veins; flowers are yellow, and don't typically set pollen but will set seeds if pollinated. Available plant is filling out an 8 inch pot and about ready to burst it. One of several remakes of D. x nagamotoi here, this cross develops elegant rosettes averaging 1.5-2 inches in diameter but able to reach nearly 4 inches in some cases, with semi-erect elongate oar-shaped leaves that are typically bright green with crimson tentacles, but can blush red throughout if the lights are strong enough. Flower stalks are thin and tall, bearing several delicate white sterile blooms. A great singular display plant, these love to bud off old leaves or damaged roots and so form colonies quickly. very tolerant of a wide range of conditions. Available plants are mature, between 1.5-2" in diameter. Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. The shrinking effect of brevifolia is quite evident in this maternal-side cross that rarely exceeds 1.5 inches in diameter, bearing short, spoon-shaped leaves in a tight rosette that often flush solid wine red in good light. The flower stalks are short and wiry and covered in tiny glands, bearing large, very pale pink sterile blooms. Old leaves and roots often bud, making this a great colony plant. Available plants are mature, between 1-1.5" in diameter on average. Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. As in other D. brevifolia hybrids this cross has the look of a slightly miniaturized version of the other parent with very glandular flower stalks; rosettes reach no more than 1.5-2" in diameter with flat, paddle- or narrow wedge-shaped leaves that readily color in deep reds and underlying olive green in good light. The gland-covered stalks bear several moderately large, very pale pink sterile flowers with rounded petals. Old leaves readily bud, meaning it rapidly develops colonies. Available plants are mature, between 1-2" in diameter. Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. A supposedly fertile polyploid of this typically sterile hybrid (formerly x belezeana if you prefer; I still question the need for a changed name), though it seems flowers are still a mystery goal for most growers (and a challenge to take on for new owners!). These plants develop spring rosettes up to 4" in diameter (summer/late fall rosettes, much like the rotundifolia parent, tend to be much smaller), with flat to semi-erect paddle-shaped leaves bearing slender petioles and not-quite-rounded lamina. Under good lighting, color will go from bright green with crimson tentacles and pink tints to solid red. As noted, blooms are unknown currently, though likely small and white, and offspring will probably not breed true but could be interesting. Old leaves will bud and plants divide at times, making for dense colonies. This is a winter-dormant plant. Available plants may range from 1-3" in diameter during growth, or hibernacula in winter dormant season. This diminutive hybrid produces rosettes that rarely reach more than 1-1.5 inches in diameter with short paddle shaped leaves that blush bright crimson in good light. Tall wiry flower stalks are produced regularly, and are covered in tiny glands much like in D. brevifolia; flowers are bright pink, and sterile. Commonly dividing, this hybrid will often rapidly form clumps and colonies. One of several equally attractive version of this cross made at Carlton Carnivores, this hybrid averages around 2-2.5" in diameter but can reach over 3" at times, with rosettes of relatively slender, semi-erect baseball bat-shaped leaves with short but notable petioles and a lengthy, tapered lamina. Color ranges from bright green with red tentacles to nearly solid red in strong light. Flower stalks can be lengthy, with numerous fairly large, bright pink sterile blooms. A great plant for singular display, or will eventually develop colonies. One of the most sought after and often finicky species, crossed with a variety of one of the most common and easy to grow, has produced a plant with the best of both worlds. This phenomenal hybrid can reach to just over 2 inches in diameter (though often averages smaller), with flat to just barely semi-erect rosettes of very narrow oar- or paddle-shaped leaves with medium-length petioles lined in spiky looking white hairs and lamina decked out in brilliant crimson tentacles. Color in the leaves themselves ranges from pure green, bicolor, to in strong enough solid light crimson red. The tall, wiry inflorescences bear several sterile, large and delicate pink blooms. Available plants average around 1-1.5" in diameter. A Carlton Carnivores original hybrid, this spectacular plant can be slow to grow when small, but eventually develops firework-like rosettes up to 2.5" in diameter with thin paddle-shaped leaves that splay out in all directions and tipped in broad teadrop shaped lamina. New leaves are bright green with crimson tentacles, and as they droop with age they also develop deep red infusion for a bicolor appearance overall. The flower stalks are thick, slightly hairy, and support numerous impressive, broad-petaled white flowers. Though old leaves can sometimes bud to help form colonies, this is a cross more reluctant to do so on its own, and so does well as a singular display plant. Available plants are between 1.5-2" in diameter. A diminutive cross with superficial similarities to D. rotundifolia or capillaris, but with a more tropical growth habit. Rosettes grow up to 2" in diameter (though often average between 1-1.5") with leaves bearing slender and somewhat hairy petioles and ovular to nearly round lamina. Color is often a bright yellow-green in the center with red tentacles or red-flushed lamina. Flower stalks are delicately thin and bear several small, right pink sterile blooms. This is a cross that propagates readily from old leaves or broken roots, and so will form colonies over time; best growth is under moderately warm conditions, as high heat or cold may trigger a pseudo-dormancy. Available plants average around 1.5" in diameter. Shipping cost includes heat pack for winter conditions.
