Josh's Jersey Devil Carnivorous Plants. Located in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey (in the heart of Leeds' Devil territory!) I began like many others with a supermarket Venus Flytrap. Soon, I too became obsessed and ordered up every plant I found online, most of all I was intrigued by those from my home state. My fascination for these plants even lead me to study Environmental Science at my University where I was given the opportunity to research the very plants I fell in love with! Up for sale are propagated plants from my private collection. Lots of unique specimens, hybrids, temperate and tropical offerings. My schedule allows me to ship on Mondays currently. I ship via USPS Priority.

My Venus flytrap seed was hand harvested July 2021 from plants that I myself had grown from seed and were left to be pollinated by insects. The seed in question was sourced from "deluxe mixed cultivars", which means we're 2 generations in now! Many interesting plants grew from seed; red coloration, giant traps, short teeth, all green, ground hugging, elongated traps, extra long petioles, extra short petioles, you name it. Enjoy the same process I went through all those years ago! You will receive 50 seeds. Free shipping and no inspection required on seed-only orders.

Sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa "Tattnal County, GA" originates from a population of gorgeously colored and unique southern purple pitcher plants! What's interesting about this population is that it is considered the southernmost population of Sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa. The colors here are what truly stand out. Spring colors tend to start out with green, boldly veined pitchers and age into ornately veined crimson pitchers. Let me tell you, in a tray of mixed purps, you can tell Tattnal's from a mile away in the best way possible. I imagine that this population of plants will become a staple in carnivorous collections! This clone is a vigorous grower, has well shaped tubby pitchers that exhibit the classic "folded lid" associated with montane purple pitcher plants, as well as strong, bold veins, deep crimson lower pitchers and nice bright green hoods to really show off the color contrast. Sarracenia x "Night Sky x Leah's Child" is a white topped complex hybrid pitcher plant. This specimen here is a very beautiful with nice slim white upper pitchers. Unlike pure leucophylla which can sometimes be a tad finicky and slower growing IMO, this specimen benefits from hybrid vigor and grows fast, tall, and divides regularly! I often call it my "budget White Knight" due its passing resemblance to aforementioned cultivar. It is primarily white and tends to be more green, but some red will fill in the veins around the mouth and throat of the pitchers. If you are in the market for cheaper, impressive, and vigorous white-topped style pitcher plants then look no further! Size options: Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.

Sarracenia x "Adrian Slack" is a natural moorei hybrid and registered cultivar of jaw-dropping beauty. If you don't know who Adrian Slack is, do a quick search and you'll understand why this plant was named in his honor :) I may be a bit biased when I say this but...Neither words nor pictures will ever do this specimen justice. In my humble opinion, this is the most beautiful pitcher plant that ever existed. The delicate vase-like shape is derived from the S. flava parentage, and the white colors from the S. leucophylla parentage. The leaf lid turns solid white with distinct red veins, pink and red hues gradually fill in the lip edge, and faint white windows peek through the reddish upper tubes. Size options: Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.

A Sarracenia purpurea ssp. purpurea (Northern Purple Pitcher Plant). This is one of my absolute favorite northern purple pitcher plants. This is one of my most beautiful purple pitcher plant clones. This one produces lime green, lightly veined pitchers in the spring, pinkish/orange gradiants in the summer and fall, before turning hues of fuchsia and purple in the winter, without getting a solid purple like most. This is the northern variety of pitcher plant and will survive outdoors with no winter protection!!! (I live in climate zone 7A). This is a single clone, all plants are genetically identical. Size options: Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
