I have always been fascinated with how the human hand has shaped nature. While man attempts to work in unison with nature, realities like pollution and overpopulation force nature to adapt in its own way or reclaim its territory. Often times, the adaptations are not seen or go unnoticed. My art captures the possibilities of these moments in both believable and unimaginable ways. Carnivorous plants question what we know about the food chain as we know it and my fascination in collecting and studying these fantastic plants has a frequent influence in my creations.
I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area where I have local exhibitions about once a year and have ongoing relationships with local galleries and a carnivorous plant nursery that display and sell my originals and printed art.
